Associate Hairstylist
About Grove Salon
Grove Salon is a growth-focused, team-oriented salon that prioritizes education, mentorship, and creativity. Designed to support emerging talent, Grove Salon provides a structured environment where associate stylists can develop their technical skills, build confidence, and grow into successful independent stylists while delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Responsibilities
• Assist experienced stylists with daily appointments and client services
• Support salon operations including shampooing, blow-drying, and prepping clients
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon and workstations
• Participate in ongoing education and training programs
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure a welcoming client experience
• Learn and develop technical skills in cutting, coloring, and styling
• Help manage inventory and restock products as needed
• Gradually build a clientele under mentorship and guidance
Qualifications
• Valid cosmetology license (or currently enrolled in cosmetology school, if applicable)
• Strong desire to learn and grow within the hair industry
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to take direction and work collaboratively with a team
• Passion for beauty, trends, and client experience
• Willingness to participate in training and education programs

Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments
• Deliver exceptional client consultations and personalized recommendations
• Build and maintain a loyal client base through consistent service and relationship-building
• Stay current on industry trends, techniques, and product knowledge
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workstation
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive and supportive salon culture
• Recommend and sell professional hair care products to clients
• Uphold Grove Salon standards for guest experience and service excellence
Qualifications
• Valid FL cosmetology license
• Proven experience as a hairstylist with a strong portfolio of work
• Advanced knowledge of cutting, coloring, and styling techniques
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Passion for continued education and professional growth
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Established clientele preferred but not required
